PUSAT LAUT, WHAT IS THAT?
I know you came not without reason. Here you are in Ayu's world of travel!
The city of Palu is surrounded by a very diverse landscape, ranging from highlands, and mountains, to bays and beaches that we can find here.
Pusat Laut is a large
circular well consisting of rocks that are located just a few meters from the
beach where the water is very clear and blue. The location of Pusat Laut is not
far from Palu City, to be precise on the coast of Towale Village, Central
Banawa District, Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi. The journey required takes
about 1 hour 30 minutes from Palu City. Tourists can only travel by car or
motorcycle.
The city of Palu is again
crowded with tourists after a long period of silence as a result of the natural
disaster of the tsunami and liquefaction in Palu on September 28, 2018. Of
course, all of the activities in this crowded city stopped for quite a long
time due to this incident, one of which is in the world of tourism. Until the
situation in the city of Palu returned to stability, everything seemed to come
to life again, the world of education, the world of economy and development,
and one of them is the world of tourism was reactivated.
According to the story
circulating, Pusat Laut is a natural phenomenon that was formed due to the
sudden collapse of the ground into the ground whose shape happened to be
circular like a well. The reason why the collapse of the land surface causes
water to appear in that place is that it is very close to the shoreline. Pusat
Laut is a crowded place to visit on weekends, especially during holidays. Some come just to enjoy the scenery and capture it on camera, and some come to swim in this saltwater well where the water is clear
blue with a depth of up to 5-7 meters. Pusat Laut is also a great place for visitors
who want to enjoy the violet sunset because it is so close to the beach. This
place has been inaugurated as a tourist destination since 2000.
When visiting the Pusat
Laut there are several things that visitors must pay attention to, that is; it
is forbidden to jump or swim in the well if visitors cannot swim because the
depth of the well from the water surface reaches 5-7 meters, so it will be very
dangerous for visitors if they cannot swim. In addition,
visitors are also expected to use safe swimwear because there are sharp rocks
that can injure the visitor's body. And the most important thing is to always
keep the place clean, don't throw garbage into the water. If we don't protect
nature, then who will?
For information, because
this place is quite far from Palu City, it will be difficult for visitors to
get signals from all mobile operators so visitors cannot use their cell phones
to call and send messages. Maybe, this should be the concept of a good natural
tourist spot, because then we will be free to enjoy the beauty of nature
without being disturbed by cyberspace activities or activities on our
telephones.
Pusat Laut is of course a
place that attracts the attention of tourists and even everyone because of its
very unique shape, so are you sure you don't want to come there even just once
in your life?
What are you waiting for, Pusat Laut is waiting for you.
